Candidates must hold a Graduate degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India. While registering online, aspirants are required to have their mark sheet or degree certificate in hand and must correctly enter the percentage of marks obtained during graduation.

For MMGS II, the minimum age is 23 years and the maximum age is 35 years as on the cut-off date 01 April 2026. In other words, applicants must have been born between 02.04.1991 and 01.04.2003 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation of 5 years is available for SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates, and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates. Persons affected by the 1984 riots are also eligible for 5 years of age relaxation.

Selected candidates will be appointed on a regular (permanent) basis in MMGS II with a pay scale of Rs. 64,820 – 2,340/1 – 67,160 – 2,680/10 – 93,960. In addition to the basic pay, employees will be entitled to DA, HRA or leased accommodation (as applicable), CCA, medical benefits, LTC, and terminal benefits as per the bank's prevailing rules. Selected officers will serve in a specialist cadre and will be governed by the promotion policy applicable to specialist cadre officers. They will be eligible for inter-state transfers, postings at Zonal Offices, Head Office, and special branches.

The selection procedure for MMGS II comprises the following stages:

• Written Test (may be waived at bank's discretion): 100 questions – 100 marks – 105 minutes duration, comprising English Language (20Q/20M), General Awareness (20Q/20M), and Professional Knowledge (60Q/60M).
• Screening based on experience and suitability
• Personal Interview — held at New Delhi (unless stated otherwise); candidates attend at their own cost
• Final Merit List — prepared state-wise and category-wise; written test carries 70% weightage and interview carries 30% weightage

Minimum qualifying marks: 40% per section for General/EWS and 35% for Reserved Categories. A CIBIL score of 650 or above is also mandatory at the time of joining.
